For cloth bags capable of withstanding temperatures below 150℃, chemical fibers such as polyester, polypropylene, acrylic, and nylon can generally withstand these conditions. However, for situations where the flue gas temperature is relatively high, such as in the chemical industry, tail gas from carbon black (white carbon black) production, blast furnace gas from ironworks, tail gas from cement kilns, kiln tail gas from calcium carbide plants, foundries, steel mills, asphalt concrete mixing plants, refractory brick kilns, and coking plants, there are three main reasons: firstly, due to the specific resistance limitation, dusty flue gas cannot be collected by electrostatic precipitators and can only be collected using cloth bags or other methods; secondly, reducing the temperature of dusty flue gas to below 150℃ requires high investment or is limited by on-site space; thirdly, because dusty flue gas contains sulfur components, it has an acid "dew point", and dusty flue gas can only be filtered and separated at temperatures above the acid dew point, which requires a chemical fiber capable of withstanding higher temperatures to be used as filter material.

    Our factory utilizes METAMAX® (Metas) fiber produced by DuPont Teijin Advanced Fibers Co., Ltd. and adopts international advanced standards. We have manufactured Metas high-temperature resistant needle-punched filter felt using imported advanced equipment. Note:

    1. The performance test table for Metas' high-temperature needle-punched filter felt is attached

    2. Metas is a generic term for NOMEX® produced by DuPont in the United States and CONEX® produced by Teijin in Japan.

3. When sewing METASMAX filter bags, it is necessary to use dedicated sewing thread. The METASMAX sewing thread produced by our factory boasts high strength, excellent wear resistance, and a temperature resistance of up to 260°C or higher.

I、High temperature resistant METAMAX needle punched filter felt

In the field of filter bag, usually people regard the bag as the heart of filter bag, what kind of flue gas that the filter bag can deal with, it dependson the chemical fiber itself for the bag. Under the common flue gas condition, it needs that the bag can endure the 150℃ below, in this occasion, polyester, polypropylene, acrylon, chinlon etc could be suitable for this. But in the high temperature occasion, such as chemical, carbon black (white carbon black) tail gas, blast furnace gas in irons melting plant, vertical kiln tail gas in cement plant, kiln furnace tail gas from calcium carbide plant, casting, flue gas of steel smelting, gypsum concrete gas, fire-resisting brick gas, coking gas etc. the powder gas is unfit for electricity dust-collecting, only using the bag or others because of the mass resistively limit, the second reason is if we cool the powder gas below the 150℃ , the investment cost is higher and the space site is limited, the third is because of the sulphur content of the flue gas, and the powder gas contain the acid dewing point, it can filtrate and separate that the flue gas is under the high temperature condition, which needs the high temperature resistant chemical fiber to make the filter medium.Our factory selects METAMAX fiber from Dupont Teijin fiber co., ltd and advanced international standard and the equipments to produce METAMAX high temperature resistant needle punched filter felt. 2.METAMAX is the general designation of America Dupont's NOMEX and Japan Teijin' CONEX.

3.to sew the METAMAX filter bag, it must use the special sewing thread. METAMAX ewing thread is produced by ourselves, it has high intension, good wear resistance and high temperature resistant up to above 260℃。
