The seminar on the hazards and prevention methods of PM2.5, organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, was successfully held in Shanghai

     From March 15th to March 16th, 2012, a seminar themed "The Hazards and Prevention Methods of PM2.5" was successfully held at the Shanghai Technology and Trade Building.

     This meeting was organized by the Filtration and Separation Specialty Committee of the China Technical Association. The participating experts freely expressed their opinions and suggestions on the current status of atmospheric particulate matter control technology (industrial, motor vehicle, construction dust, biomass, etc.), the hazards of atmospheric particulate matter pollution sources (point sources, non-point sources, line sources), and the prevention and control measures for PM 2.5. They provided opinions on the current pollution status, monitoring technology, and control measures of PM 2.5 in China. The meeting analyzed the problems and current situation faced by the domestic PM 2.5 prevention and control work, and discussed the key work for the next stage.

     Our R&D department managers, Ms. Hou Weili and Ms. Sun Jie, participated in the conference as invited professionals and delivered a professional speech titled "How to Deal with Pollution Caused by PM2.5".

        This meeting will play a positive role in promoting the development of "The Hazards and Prevention of PM2.5" and facilitating the smooth implementation of PM 2.5 governance. President Wang Yanxi, Secretary-General Yao Gongbi, as well as over 100 experts from the Shanghai Environmental Monitoring Center, Shanghai Academy of Environmental Sciences, Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau, Donghua University, Northeastern University, Tongji University, South China University of Technology, and the School of Electric Power, attended the meeting.
